catpack68 Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 i started on this one in the on the work bench section earlier this year as a full detail build, but decided to do it as a curbside build.started with a revell 66 elcamino.grafted the front end from the revell 67 chevelle kit.i added the tailights and rear bumper from the 67 chevelle kit too.the bumpers were done with alclad.the wheels and tires are pegasus chrome Ts 18s and 20s.the paint is tamiya black and red with tamiya clear polished out.i lowered it a bit.interior was detailed with revell 10' camaro ss seats, model car garage photoetched seat belt buckles and masking tape seat belts.the steering wheel is from the revell 37 ford and the dash was smoothed and JWTBM stock car gauges were added.thanks for looking. what i was shooting for as far as the look.the mothers 67 elcamino built several years ago. thanks for looking.
