I am not sure what I am going to do with this one yet, while i am figuring out what I am going to do, I decided to get the engine and interior painted. I did a couple of things to the body, I tried to correct the rear wheel openings, I am not sure how close I got them, I used the 70 wheel well openings as a template. I also opened up the trunk

I've done this conversion a few times now, an other than some slight trimming on the stock JoHan interior to clear the AMT rear wheelwells, you can get away with useing the JoHan interior, IF you want. All JoHan 69 thru 70 Mopars, and MPC based 68 thru 70b body kits can use the AMT chassis with VERY LITTLE modifications. This is a GREAT easy conversion.Your doin great and you will be ALOT happier with the results! :D:);)

Have not got a lot done, but I did get the trunk hinged, I also covered up the gas tank opening as well, so now that its all done I can move on to getting it painted, just need to decided on a color. I am going with a set mopar steelies on this build , just need to order them soon.

I got some work done on this one, I would be a little farther along but I screwed while painting the body so I had to strip it, then when i was ready to respray, we had some weather come thru bring wind and rain.

I was able to get some paint down today, did some mist/light coats, I need to do some sanding and then do the wet coats.

The chassis is done, I added the brake lines, and thinking about adding the fuel line . I also added so styrene to the wheel backs so the wheels will sit farther out like they should.

Well I am not sure if I am ever going to get this one finished, I have been having nothing but problems getting it painted. Now I know its not all my fault is I have been trying to use kyrlon yellow and I have been building up the layers with light coats. when I go to do the wet coat it craze's I think is the term.

So this is the fifth time I have had to strip it. I have almost gone thru the entire can of paint. I do have some tamyia yellow, but I dont know if there is enough in the can to do one more paint job.

I could use a different color but I would have to take a part the chassis and repaint it as well and I dont want to do that. :banghead:

This is why I only use krylon very rare now. I like that shade of yellow that it is, for some reason I have been having problems painting all the sudden.

I have got the body repainted, after trying to paint it yellow I think seven times, I gave up on yellow and went with tamyia gunmetal. So that meant taking apart the chassis as well.
