John Pol Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 How do you guys do the brake lines on a muscle car like 68 Dart or Camaro. What materials do yo use to fabicate this. What do you use to fasten the lines to the chassic and how do you run the lines to the master cyclinder. John Pol
gluebomb Posted November 11, 2011 Posted November 11, 2011 If you are not familiar with 1:1 cars I would study pics of them online first, then buy a couple of tools and supplies. You are going to need a pin vise and a good set of drill bits #80-61 will do, you should be able to these at your local hobby shop, if not then try Micro-Mark. You will also need some wire I found that 34 AWG wire found at any craft store will replicate 3/16" brake line and 32AWG wire will do 1/4" brake line these two sizes are most common. You will also need to buy some photo etched fittings and clips that you can get from either Detail Master or The Model Car Garage. I hope this helps.
