High octane Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 I've had no problems with the USPS in the last couple of years at all. Before that I had sent a package out west and it looked as if someone sat on it or played basketball with it. Now I write FRAGILE all over the package on all sides and insure it also. So far it seems to be working.
crazyjim Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Before people get a job with the USPS, they attend a mandatory class on package handling presented by airline baggage handlers
route66modeler Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 (edited) Hi, I got tired of my local PO back charging me for .001 oz over on a 13oz package. my scale doesn't read to the .000 of the oz. I now take 99% of my boxes to my local Office Depot for shipping. The other 1% goes to my local Fedex Office store. I get 10% back in rewards on shipping and FREE delv conf service. Guess what, no more back charges! Steve Edited November 23, 2011 by route66modeler
Sam Cates Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 Oh don't get me started, DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED! Just recently I mailed a MO, came back "not enough postage." In Feb I next day aired a few built kits VERY WELL PACKED, for NNL West, they were destroyed and the box was smashed and ripped open, pieces missing and all...Just two of the many issues I have had this past year...I think it depends on your local PO sometimes.
