Get rid of paint separation lines?

I painted the green today. Looks very good but theres a definite separation line from the tape edge. Is there a good way to knock this down? Maybe some high grit (3k+) sandpaper, really gently after the paint has had time to cure? I think this is too much for some clear to blend in.

Wet sand with 3-4000, just enough to knock the razor edge off. Then clear, then sand the clear to remove the rest of the edge.
