rustybill1960 Posted November 27, 2011 Posted November 27, 2011 I am a fan of Chevelles! Lead on my friend, lead on!
Edsel-Dan Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 Those are MPC's 80's annual's tires, But be careful on which kit you take them from. The ones in the 69 Cuda are likely the same, But I bet the ones in the Shelby are the Smaller 13 inch rim tires. I know, I have the 2.2 Charger version of the MPC Shelby/Omni, as well as a few of the other MPC annuals of the 80's that had the BFG T/A's ie 82 Camaro Indy Pace car (Yea That one Should have Goodyears or Firestones!) 86 Corvette (Also an Indy Pace car !) I beleive the 3 kit Pace car set's 80 Turbo Firebird (Trans Am) has them too. This is not a movie I would watch, but do like the car.
Nick Winter Posted December 3, 2011 Author Posted December 3, 2011 Bit more Done, took some screen shots of the 1:1 and painted the car with Duplicolor Black Primer today. Nick
Sport Suburban Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Looking good so far. What are you doing about the rear bumper and tail lights? Are you sticking with the 70's rear bumper? Or are you scratchbuilding a 71 bumper to fit this Revell kit?

Dr. Cranky Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Are you kidding, that Chevelle is rocking! I built one about 18 years ago. It was time to build another one and your build got me headed in the right direction.
Dr. Cranky Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Here's the look I am after with mine: Without those skinny flame licks though. Oh, and by the way, that is NOT a model! LOL!
