MoparWoman Jamie Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 As you can see here one bracket has already been removed. New mounting bracket in the works (white piece) The top of the original kit piece mounting bracket.
MoparWoman Jamie Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 (edited) Here you can see that not much is left of the original kit mounting bracket for this side. The pass side one. Edited January 14, 2012 by zerodude

pete3522 Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 ###### best work i have seen on here so far you have all the other pro truck builders in silence they usually get excited over a little bit of puttyif it involves one of their click members!!lol
truckabilly Posted January 14, 2012 Posted January 14, 2012 Awesome work! Cool ideas! I like the combination of different materials. I was never keen of functional lighting on a model but this may change my mind.
MoparWoman Jamie Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 First off, thank you all for the kind comments. 2nd I'm just doing my best is all on this build. MoparWoman Jamie Posted February 14, 2012 Author Posted February 14, 2012 Okay, so progress has slowed down on this project alittle. I'm still working on the rear axles an air system.

scale trucker Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 are you gonna cover the air bags in thin black vinal??nice work so far
MoparWoman Jamie Posted February 15, 2012 Author Posted February 15, 2012 Work on these yesterday evening. Here is the air bags. Yes that is electrical tape super glued to the original kit piece's. The tape was trip down to 1/2inch tall. They do compress nicely an the tape doesn't stick on the inside either.
BigBad Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) Jim, that is impressive work so far, your friend must be beside himself watching this build. Just love that "air" suspension! Edited February 15, 2012 by Z06Bob
