I like that dashboard! How on earth do you guys detail the little numbers on the dials? Do you scrape the paint off of them? I'm having a tough time with this.

Those are actually decals I used for the gauges. I suck at detailing dashes so this is what I did. I probably could have done a lot better at it but considering a lot of it will not be seen very well, this is what I will go with. The decals I had laying around from a Cobra model. The speedo goes to 200. That is probably a first for a truck. LOL

that truck looks good but i think it looks to much like built out of the box??Throw some chrome goods on their or some decals or a frame stretch or maybe even some straight stacks i bought a couple of these trucks the one i made into a 110'' inch sleeper stretched the frame put 8 inch straight stacks and chrome 8 holes and a drop visor the other one i built almost stock except i put a custom paint job and chrome wheels in the front and dayton spokes in the rear looks pretty good not to cut u down or anything i just think these astro and titans lack detail they look alot better with chrome and detail but to each their own hope you dont take it the wrong way still looks good

Now that is a truck! I like that.

This is my second model I have built in 15 years so I am slowly getting back in to it.This is also the second truck that I have ever built. I usually build muscle cars and hot rods. I wanted this one to look more like a work horse than a show truck. I have a flatbed trailer that I will be building for it next.

I may still get a couple more of them and do some different things with them.

Thanks

Doing burnouts like that he'll replacing the diffs in both axles. I bet the cross pinions were glowing red and every once of gear oil turned into gas. I wouldn't be surprised if at least one of the hub wheelseals blew at the end of that day. LOL

A 110 inch cab is a natural on these trucks, too bad GM didn't do any. I like your truck, it's very well thought out and well put together.

I like the 2 hole budds in the back. Did that front axle come out of the Transtar 4300? The front wheels sure are similar. I was planning to install that axle on my Titan.

You should show us more, start another topic!

Great looking Titan, Brian! black and red is a classic. I like the fact that you kept the Dayton spoke wheels on it. They used to be on every other truck at the time. Now, once in a while you'll see an odd truck with them. They looked good! Your cab height looks good too. Nice build.

heres a pic of a 110 i found on the net guess they did make some???

Gm didn't actualy factory produce them 108" cabs , they were part of an aftermarket setup that include the big grill , 4 head lights stacked on top of eachother , and a few other things I can think of. If you go to the 1/1 pictures part of the truck forum there is an artical on this very topic. I too tink them jimmies looked a whole lot better with the kit added on
