hotrodblder Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Does anyone know of a company that produces a 70's Dodge Colt that can be built into a pro stock? I know in the past "Reliable" had one, but am not sure who else might. Thanks for reading.
george 53 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Ron Andrews over at RMR resins has one. I just picked one up at Toledo. He has them in different degrees of completeness. I just purchased the body, but he DOES offer a pretty good Pro Stock starter conversion.hth.
hotrodblder Posted November 29, 2011 Author Posted November 29, 2011 Thanks George, I'll go check them out. I do need to correct myself though, too. Reliable has an OMNI not a Colt. I think either would make a sweet build.
Rob Z Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Heres the link for RMR http://www.freewebs.com/rmrresin/nf125.htm... Has the wagon, stock or Pro Stock...
caine440 Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 Here is my early attempt using that kit. It was a thick casting and my skill level may not have been up to the challenge. Looking forward to seeing yours!
hotrodblder Posted November 30, 2011 Author Posted November 30, 2011 That's a SICK build Roger. Makes me drool. Sorry if it spilled out onto your desk. And although, I am a S&M fan (get your minds out of the gutter), I would have to find a different paint scheme.
Chuck Most Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Yeah- if you're looking for oddball Mopar stuff, Ron is the guy to talk to.
Elliot949 Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 I have had the Colt and it is VERY nice... I had the complete kit and it built up very nice... I got an offer that I could not refuse so I sold it... I need to get another one so I can build it again...
