Pat Cardz Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Here's another one of my early builds, this one was done im 2003. My first scratch roll cage and chassis plumbing was done on this one. Thanks for looking!
Darin Bastedo Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 What rear tires did you use? They fit the build perfectly!
Harry P. Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 Too cool! Great color too. BTW...it's weird for me when someone posts one of their "early" builds...all the way back from 2003... when I realize that my early builds were done in the 60s!
Pat Cardz Posted May 15, 2007 Author Posted May 15, 2007 Harry I built back in the 80's but none of those made through to the 90's,lol All my early 90's builds have been torn down and dunked in CSC, now they all wait to be restored. I wished I had taken some pics before I did tear them down. BTW i got back in to model building in 2002.
Harry P. Posted May 15, 2007 Posted May 15, 2007 I know what you mean, Pat. I really wish I still had all the models I built in the past, but unfortunately they're all long gone... victims of my mom's long ago basement cleaning.
Pat Cardz Posted May 16, 2007 Author Posted May 16, 2007 What rear tires did you use? They fit the build perfectly! Sorry I missed your question. The back tires are Nascar tires, I believe I got them out of the Monograms Squarebird combo.
bsoder Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 That is one BAD A$$ looking "BEE" Pat,very nice build!..
Daniel Peterson Posted May 16, 2007 Posted May 16, 2007 That looks like a real Saturday night street racer that might have a glove box full of tickets for "exhibition of speed". I love the overall look, but when you start looking at the details, Yikes!! Outstanding!
Mike Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Brilliant execution on this build. Tastefully done on a total package.
RJWood Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 Really like the killer bee Pat. what paint did you use, that color is very nice. and did you paint the raised white tire lettering? If so, its an excelent job.

darquewanderer Posted June 23, 2007 Posted June 23, 2007 Too cool! Great color too. BTW...it's weird for me when someone posts one of their "early" builds...all the way back from 2003... when I realize that my early builds were done in the 60s!
