plastikfreek
Started on this last weekend...Impala SS ProStreet. Going to be a mild build with a healthy bigblock/4 spd......Gotta love these old "Boats"..... .....took minimal work to make room for the Mickey Thompsons to fit inside the wheel wells....Running on skinny/widened rally wheels..Paint color hasn't been established yet... Evil Appetite
I plan on building one of those as well. When I look at it I see a red base coat covered by an Orange Pearl

tyrone
Now that is tight... the stance is perfect, where did you you get the rear rally's from they look awesome, any color plans yet...
plastikfreek
Thanks guys....Tyrone, I made the rear rally wheels....They are/were originally the rally wheels from the '67 Chevelle SS kit...I just glued "inserts" on top of them....I'll try to find the pics of how I did them...Really easy, and they turned out pretty decent...As far as a color, I haven't really decided yet...I know the interior will be a tan/black though... tyrone
That's a great idea,, the way you did those wheels, what did you use for the inserts??? the reason I'm asking I want to do a 67 chevelle pro street and those rally's would set it off...... plastikfreek
I just grabbed the inserts out of the parts box Tyrone.....I'm thinking they were the back inserts for some wheels off of an older kit......I'll look through some more parts and see if I possibly have any more...I was originally going to use the rear wheels out of a prostreet kit..cut the back sides off and sand them smooth/flat leaving a deep dish to put on top of the rallies...I just happened to find these and saved some time..lol.... plastikfreek
Tooltas...I was thinking of either a deep, gloss black or possible "Victory Red".....I might just look around and find something that "hits me"..lol...The interior will be dark tan/black, so I'm sure I can find something to compliment that........... Prostreet
Nice stance, Nothing better than a prostreet
gasser59
This is really nice. I love how it sits and having the rallies is great. My older brother had an SS 396 that screamed. I never could talk him into letting me drive it, probably because I was 16 at the time. He sold it after he got a ticket for doing 120 south of town and lost his license.
