mikelo Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 I did this one a while ago, but since I am new here, I thought I would share. This is another club build from our club. This is a fun kit, and I thought I would have a little more fun with it. Just to be different, I swapped the motor out & replaced it with the front subframe and motor from a Beretta (kind of like a Fiero). This is the turbo option. Once I looked at, I realized this would actually move the center of gravity forward and could help handling. Thanks for looking!
cruz Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 Very cool build my friend, just keep posting your work for all of us to enjoy..............
novadose71 Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Cool corvair. Nice to see something other than a small block swapped in, that thing would haul. My dad had a red 63? convt when I was very young, and I still remember cruising around in it almost 30 yrs later. The link is a bonus also.
Jairus Posted May 25, 2007 Posted May 25, 2007 Actually the Corvair Corsa hauled pretty well too! I had ours (a Corsa Fitch Sprint) up to 100 easy... Quicker off the line than a Corvette in many instances with only 155 h.p.!
