Nick Winter Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 At the Ajax 31 show I bought 2 Aircraft kits and won this ship in the raffle, it was a Tamiya 1/700th Japaneese Destroyer, However the decals turned to dust, and I got to thinking about some of the ships my granfather served on, this kit happended to be very close to the HMCS Ontario, one of the ships my grandfather served on. So.........yeah. Nick
Dr. Cranky Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 Looks like a cool ship. What are you going to do with it? What are your plans?
Nick Winter Posted December 12, 2011 Author Posted December 12, 2011 supposed to be water, pretty sure I did not correctly mix the product used. Nick
moparmagiclives Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 The effect is great, I'm sure you did it just fine. What I ment was what did you use for the effect ?
Nick Winter Posted December 13, 2011 Author Posted December 13, 2011 That's a good question, my friend who is a rail roader gave me two tiny bottles without labels and told me to mix them together then our it where I wanted the water. thinking it was some type of epoxy resin. Nick
moparmagiclives Posted December 13, 2011 Posted December 13, 2011 Thats pretty cool, I could use something like that on my HO slot car track setup.
