Dr. Cranky Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 (edited) Folks, in case you've never seen this magazine before, I urge you to check it out. For those of you who are fans, just letting you know the new issue is out! Great work in there by Chuck Doan, Ken Hamilton, Gordon Birrell, Marty Jones, and others. It's amazing EYE CANDY! Cheers, Doctor Cranky Edited December 15, 2011 by Dr. Cranky
trogdor Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 If the cover is indicative of the content, that's a good price for that.
Dr. Cranky Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 Oh you bet, and it's worth every penny. At 115 pages--Russ Reinberg, the editor who has a great eye for fabulous eye candy--you get more than your money's worth. Plus I always feel like I learn a whole bunch of new tips and tricks and techniques!
oldnslow Posted December 15, 2011 Posted December 15, 2011 Doc, these are great books for reference on just about any weathering detail you could want. The only problem is availability, unless you had your name on the list before they were printed you can't get one, I've never seen them in any LHS I've ever been in and when you call the publisher to order one, none are available. This is the first year in a while I didn't have my name there and I can't find them anywhere.
Dr. Cranky Posted December 15, 2011 Author Posted December 15, 2011 Robert, I just picked mine up at my local Hobby Town. I think you are right though, they are hard to find, but if you contact Russ at Westlake Publishing Co., 1574 Kerryglen Street, Weslake Village, CA 91361, or call 805-379-0904, I'm sure you can get a copy.
MicroNitro Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 I will have to go two big four tomorrow and get this I try not to miss an issue.
