Mike Kucaba Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 How do I contact him? E-mail is fine. Web site shows a domain sale notice. Thanks
Kris Morgan Posted December 21, 2011 Posted December 21, 2011 I think Eds email is lowcab36@epix.net I have not spoken to Ed myself but, I do understand he has closed his doors. Could just be a rumor though.
Mike Kucaba Posted December 21, 2011 Author Posted December 21, 2011 I sent him an e-mail. We'll see.
Marc @ MPC Motorsports Posted December 22, 2011 Posted December 22, 2011 I think Eds email is lowcab36@epix.net I have not spoken to Ed myself but, I do understand he has closed his doors. Could just be a rumor though. Ed still has some remaining stock, but is essentially out of business. I bought a few hoods from Ed last month. He is out of resin and RTV with no funds to replenish. Sales have been very slow for him at shows he told me. Too bad because he did have some nice stuff.
Mike Kucaba Posted December 22, 2011 Author Posted December 22, 2011 Yes, He got back to me and that is essentially what he confirmed. Your right,he does have some nice stuff.
Chuck Most Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 :( :( Looks like I'll have to hurry up and get a few of those '35 Ford Truck grilles... if he has any left.
High octane Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 :( :( Looks like I'll have to hurry up and get a few of those '35 Ford Truck grilles... if he has any left. I think that Replicas & Miniatures of Maryland carry those grilles also.
Chuck Most Posted December 25, 2011 Posted December 25, 2011 I know Norm has a '32 Ford grille shell reworked to fit a '37 truck insert, haven't seen any others from him though.
chuckinredneck Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Last time I talked to Ed was at the Fulton show back in Nov. At the show he had a sign saying he was going out of buisness which he confirmed while I was talking to him Said he was looking to sell everything as a packaged deal. He said that when his stock was gone that was gonna be it. I grabed some of his resin parts as much as I could afford at the time. I haven't talked to him since then. I did talke to a person who knows him much better than I do a couple weeks ago and what he said was that Ed never found anyone to buy the buisness so when he can afford some more resin then he will make some more stuff, But like I said that is word a of a friend of his friend so I can't say that is the full truth
Mike Kucaba Posted January 30, 2012 Author Posted January 30, 2012 I eventually contacted Ed. There is also info on his casting over at the TRAK forum. It appears he will be casting in a very limited form.
Dan Helferich Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I just placed an order with Ed yesterday. He still has lots of parts in stock. He's one of the best, if he casts something you're looking for give him a try! You won't be disappointed.
High octane Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Is Ed Flock any relation to the late Tim Flock who drove the Hudson?
Dan Helferich Posted February 7, 2012 Posted February 7, 2012 Ed's last name is Fluck. His dad owned F&F Resin Casting.
