'08SEAL Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 Yes. I dropped the 2 halves of the B-29. I am really mad at myself right now. UGH!!! It is fixable but it'll take about 3 days away from the finishing date. >:l
'08SEAL Posted December 23, 2011 Author Posted December 23, 2011 So for the rest of the night I am gonna chill and play some MW3 on my PS3.
Dave Ambrose Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 I've done that. Broke some chrome parts too. It happens, and you just gotta pick up the pieces and get it back together. (a bit more literally than usual)
'08SEAL Posted December 23, 2011 Author Posted December 23, 2011 I have (luckily) found all the peicespieces*
heatride Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 At my age you get excited when you don't drop it , or wonder when you are going to !
Austin T Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 About last year around this time off year I had come home from my local show and was walking up the staircase with my Austin Tilly kit(Tamiya's new one) and sliped on a step and droped my kit down about 5 steps.I swear my screams off terrror could be heard for miles,Thankfully all the parts but the tailgate and the doors stayed intact. From that day on I have used Tamiya's liquid cement.
heatride Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 At my age I wonder if I dropped it. G LOL yeah I understand !
Steven Zimmerman Posted December 23, 2011 Posted December 23, 2011 At MY age........I can't REMEMBER if I dropped it....'Z'
weasel Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 at MY age.........ummm....... nevermind.....
Adam deCoste Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 Last year I dropped a AMT 34 ford, it had made it fenderless and the way it fell three of the four wheels broke off. It was a older build and time for a resto anyways so I was not to upset.
Agent G Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 I always referred to that as "CUSTOM BY CRUNCH". G
Terry Sumner Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 Probably happened to most of us. My sleeve hooked onto a finished B-25 one time and it went to the floor and smashed in a bunch of unsalvegable pieces!
Tye Brown Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 That's nothing mate. I "HAD" a glass display unit with about 6 shelves in it. One day I came home and found all the shelves had fallen down smashed the glass door, the shelves were also smashed & there was model parts and broken bodies everywhere. I was shattered..
disabled modeler Posted December 24, 2011 Posted December 24, 2011 I have done that too....you could built it once and can again just with not much time too. I drop things all the time my hands make working a challenge at times.
Rob McKee Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 When I drop it I can never find it. One exception to this rule, I role my chair back to find it an I run over it. Life as a modeller. This is a relaxing hobby!
