Heyy,

Just wondering, what the best trailer on the market at the moment, which is acurate or close to (with a few modifications) a modern day US van/reefer, being Australian I know very little about US trailers with all our length laws and ###### aha

Any help would be much appreciated

If you don't need the trailer "right now", Moebius will be offering a 53ft Great Dane reefer trailer. I think it's scheduled for Spring 2012, give or take a little.

Italeri has a near right size trailer for 1:25 scale trucks. It's only correct in scale 1:24 for length and width, not for height. I'm working on one right now and had to modify the height by about a quarter inch to make it stand at 13'6". That was a lot of work and cutting... But for 1:25th scale it looks ok as it's shown in the picture shown higher up this topic.

Are they offering the trailer seperate from the Prostar? Or selling them as a kit together?

From what I've heard, they will be offering them as seperate kits. Maybe Dave Metzner can confirm this.

That would be perfect, either that or I will end up having a fleet of prostars, with tarilers all over the place lol

robert i had to cut and lenghten mine to make it look right

This trailer is exactly 24 inches long. Which makes it 48 foot long for 1:24 scale and 50 foot for 1:25 scale.

You lenghtened it too? You have more will power than I do! But the results are there, your rig looks great Gordon!

I'm about to finish mine on the weekend, most details have been taken care of, I need to concentrate on the decals now.

Jake, there you go, for a 1:25 scale trailer, the Italeri kit would do a reasonable job but don't expect too much from it,

especially in the suspension department, it's not very good. It's a good place to practice your modeling skills...
