Jon Cole Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 I was wondering if the 2 most popular "Mints"; Danbury & Franklin, ever have a sale?
george 53 Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 If you get their seasonal fliers they do go on "Sale" but it's only a 10/20 buck difference. Not REALLY a sale, but t beats their normal prices. Just like they 're normally priced at 129 now, and go up from there, they do discount the older out of production cars occasionally, but they're still NEVER less than a hundred bucks.
Art Anderson Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Both "Mints" have been known to close out unsold stuff, used to be they sent it out to retail stores specializing in bargains--but I haven't seen that happen much in the last few years--8-10 years ago, when their business pretty much tanked after 9/11, yeah. Ben Posted December 26, 2011 Posted December 26, 2011 Keep an eye on Ebay. I have seen many Franklin Mint and Danbury Mint vehicles sell for 1/2 to 1/4 of their original price! Most of the time they are still in "mint" condition as well!
Harry P. Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 No, they don't discount their models. Your best bet to find one "on sale" is ebay.
