Anybody know what's going on with the emodelcars.com site? Never been there before, but I noticed that the swap section of the board recommends it for selling/buying. Been trying all day and it says that the site is in maintenance mode. Just wondering.

It's called, money.

I was doing the much needed updates to the site/software, so that PayPal was better used, and all went to the land of no return.

I have been trying to fix it, but nothing short of a major overhaul is working.

I am looking at other software, but it's $3,000 for it.

The guy I bought the first one from does not respond to any of my emails.

So, I'm stuck, basically.

I don't charge for eModelCars, so dishing out $3,000 for the software that would make it really good just is not in the cards right now.

I'm trying to move it to a sub host of my domains on the VPS, to see if that would help out, see what happens.

Unless someone wants to invest in the site.....

It's not scammers, nothing like that.

It's more of you get what you pay for.

Try and get away with $200 software that you hope does the job of a $3,000, you are bound to get bit in the behind

Wow, I did'nt know. Why can't we all get together and raise some dough for the software? I'd be in for a donation. We need a good place to buy and sell............I use ebay as both a buyer and a seller, but it does get out of hand with the prices. I don't think any of us are millionaires, or have a ton of money to spend on the hobby.
