I'm wondering if there's a source for a resin CB radio that looks like this:

The one pictured is out of the Daisy's Jeep kit, but I'd rather not purchase an entire kit just for one part.

You may already have one.just about any MPC, AMT, Revell kit tooled between 1975 and 1982 should have a cb radio in it. If you don't have a kit with one in it PM me and I'll mail you a few radios.

As a kid growing up during the CB craze (10-4 good buddy!) I always preferred models that advertised that the kit came with a CB radio!

Now keep your nose between the ditches and the smokey out of your britches

Hey fellas, thanks for the info. I've been hooked up with a couple from some other folks, but I really appreciate the offers.

Sadly enough, I don't have a single kit in my collection from those MPC 70s to 80s years.

Check with Tom Coolidge at Promolite2000@aol.com. He has all sorts of radio resin castings. :)

Why not just scratchbuild it? That kit part looks out of scale. The main body can be sheet styrene or even some kit part. The cord can be a light bulb filament with a piece of thin wire inside to hold its shape.
