  1. Great work! If you ever find another '68 here's a challenge for you. This is my friends '68 Hurst/Olds. He's been the second owner since 1983. Only 515 built.
  2. Great looking project. I've been collecting many of the same parts since this kit came out in the late 90's. One of these days I get it started.
  3. Here's an option if he gets them back in stock. Back in the 90's there was a company that cast some high quality Alcoa dually wheels. I had a couple sets I had chrome plated for my trucks. https://scenesunltd.com/products/s52-1-25-19-5-dually-wheel-set?variant=49624255892
  4. This may be a little bigger than what you're looking for, but AITM makes a 10' Garwood bed. http://aitruckmodels.com/product/garwood-10ft-dump-body-kit/
  5. Here's a source for other police items too. http://www.policecarmodels.com/
  6. You might check on timstrucks.com. He's the Peterbilt expert. I've emailed him before and he responds back quickly.
  7. This is from 2007, but maybe it's still current. Plaskit email Daniel GaillouxPlaskit217 Frechette, GranbyProvince Quebec, CanadaJ2G 5Z2
  8. Sorry for the delayed response, I haven't been on the site in a while. The cab and bed are from AMT's C-3500 phantom dually kit. I had lowered the original kit and made bigger rear tubs to fit the tires.
  9. Nice work. Here's one I started about 5 years ago. The front clip is from a DG Productions model. I plan to switch to Moebius tires and wheels.
  10. I ordered quite a few parts this Spring prior to seeing the 2015 health issue posts. I received all of my parts I believe within 4-5 weeks. Maybe they received so many orders they are trying to catch up similar to the Modelhaus?
  11. Highway, Accu-Pro was the name of the company. I got mine way back in day. Still need to finish my conversion.
  12. I had one of those MPC 4x4 Dodge kits. The tires were 1/20th scale street tires. The Dessert Dog Offroad tires on the Fall Guy pick up will fit on these rims. My only worry about sleeving them would be the centers would be too large. Craig
  13. Probably the same year Impala kit for a chassis and the Johan 70 442, AMT 69 442 or Hurst/Olds kits have big block Olds engines.
  14. I just received these exact pieces from them this week. Very nice product. Craig
  15. Spaulding Trading and Shipping has it for $6. Easy to use product. Craig STS
  16. This is a snap tite Peterbilt by Revell and the transporter is by Revell of Germany. The truck is currently available, but I think the trailer is out of production, but they have been on e-bay. Craig
  17. I didn't paint the L8000, but I did paint the FORD lettering. I believe there is someone that's producing the lettering as a decal, but I can't recall who.
  18. Looks good with the chrome grill and rims. If you go with painted rims I'd find some 2 hole Budds. Craig
  19. I agree with everyone else. Your trucks always look fantastic. Did you have the cab copied for future use?
  20. You could probably add a small piece of red sprue from another kit to fill the space between the 68 lens and the 72 bucket. You can also get them from the Modelhaus. They have them for the 69 EC $2.50.
  21. Bill, this is exactly what I have planned, but with only 2 drive axles. You should make your own post. Nice looking build.
  22. With regards to the tail lights, they are different. Look at the black 68 in the picture. You'll see small pieces of trim that connect the tail lights to the bed trim. The 69-72's don't have this. GM added reflectors to the rear and widened the tail light bucket to accomodate them. On a 1/25th scale model you may not notice the difference, but on the 1:1 you do. The front fenders on 70-72 Chevelles and EC's are different. The Chevelles have a body line in the middle. Craig
  23. If I recall, the AMT kit is based off the F-350 bed. The wheels wells on these trucks were moved backwards so the truck could use the tow truck frame. The rear ends were narrower than the F-250's; that's why most of the time you see these trucks with wide steel wheels in the rear with 33x 12.50 tires. Based on the fact that the rear weels are located more to the rear, maybe this is the same distance as the short bed. You'd only have to cut the front of the bed to make it look correctly.
