  1. Ed, I know what your looking for but the company went out of business long ago. I believe it was Tim Boyd's company that used to have a really nice set of resin 1/25 scale Alcoas. I have a couple sets I chrome plated on my Chevy dually pickups. You may try to see if any one has a set laying around. If you want a photo, I'll try to post one.
  2. Great idea. Growing up a friend of one of my neighbors did something similar to yours. It was wrecked in front, so he cut off the nose and head light area and mounted the spare tire in front with a pre-runner style bar wrapping around it. In back he had a tube bumper and left off the trunk lid leaving the engine exposed. For wheels he had the factory skinnys in front and I believe 31" tires in back. The wheel wells were radiused to fit the tires. I look forward to seeing the end result.
  3. Your shop is coming along nicely. I have one of these stuffed in my closet. Hopefully it'll get built before I retire. Until then, I'll keep collecting parts I need.
  4. After 11 years, I'm getting back into building. During my lay off, I purchased a Testers Decal Maker disk figuring it would be helpful when I got back in the hobby. Unforntunately, it is pretty basic. I noticed Testers has two more upgrade disks. I'd like to make my own decals for my truck models, instead of using the big picture graphics a lot of kits have. Have any of you used these disks or is there a better program to make my own decals?
  5. Tim, just wanted to tell you what a great site you have. It has given me the inspiration to get back into modelling after an 11 year lay off! It has also changed my focus to commercial trucks. I've bought 6 in the last month. I hope to get one completed soon and post it on your site. Thanks again.
