Has anyone used the MCG vinyl top kits? How big is the sheet? How do you apply it?

From a google search: Includes three sheets of 2” X 6 ¼” self adhesive vinyl top material. Comes with complete instructions. Recommended Kit(s): All 1/24 and 1/25 scale kits.

I used it on these builds. Make sure you have a fresh sheet, as the adheisive dries out, and it gets hard to remove from the sheet if it's old. It comes in Black, and White, which is a little translucent.

Sometimes it's just the right combination of words in a particular order.

Sometimes, it's just slow, bargain-basement internet service.

I have Comcast, so it's not slow internet. It's just slow, bargain basement me. LOL

Those vinyl tops sure look nice Ron. I have tried to order the vinyl top kit from Model Express but they were out of stock. I'll have to try again.

Also trying to figure out what size heater hose and/or braided line to use. Was looking at the options at scaledreams, but there's too many. LOL

Send an email to Rick at ScaleDreams. He'd probably try to help you.

I've seen other ways to do vinyl tops - masking tape and spray adhesive come to mind I've used the spray adhesive deal once on a 1970 Challenger build for a friend. It came out pretty good.
