Lownslow Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 this isnt a bad kit technically my third 48 i used to have 2 vert 48s before this one. i went for a taildragger look so i bobbed the tail end i never intended it to be a gloss paintjob i started leaning that way till a error told me otherwise it reacted pretty bad cause it ate itself all the way into the plastic so i had to fix it fast option b was to primer the front end like it was under construction post wreck, wasnt happenin once it was cleaned up i reshot the car with plain base pearl then the same color with violet pearl mixed in and then a flat clear paint job over the paint and decals
Dr. Cranky Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 I like it in suede a lot better. The pinstriping is just right!
trogdor Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 Wow, you took a bad situation and ended up with something better than if it hadn't gone wrong in the first place. I like that color and the look.
Lownslow Posted January 14, 2012 Author Posted January 14, 2012 here it is after gettting stanced, i had a lot of notching to do in the rear end

MikeMc Posted January 18, 2012 Posted January 18, 2012 (edited) Love the suede, the rear bob looks bitchin...I may do that to mine, I used the side pods and slammed it,but I didn't want to C the frame with the rear buggy spring, and I put the Ardun heads from the 50 PU in mine...
