Thanks guys and I tried to do the tail lights with bmf but my big fingers get in the way lol. I really appreciate all the comments.

I know lowriders arent everyone's thing but just finished this one with hydraulics and thought I would put it up.
-
This car I did not make it to hop. But it will do front/back and side to side and 3 wheel like a 1:1. Most of what I build are lowriders and I know not everyone likes them but I have always liked them. The models and 1:1

Would love to see them erik88

Thanks guys and as soon as I get it finished up I will post a short video and as for the tail lights I did go around the center with a silver sharpie but its a old marker and will pick up a new one today to finish that up. And I really appreciate all the comments.

Well since im almost finished I thought I would post this 64 impala I built for my uncle. It does have working hydraulics. I have to put the rear bumper on and wire up the switches but on to the pics.

Thank u so much for all ur comments and suggestions.

I was originally thinking two tone but since I removed the side chrome it wouldnt look right to me so I decided to go with a mild kustom look. Im kinda leaning towards a copper or orange metallic with a two tone interior.
-
Thanks guys. I was thinking a two tone and also thought about scalops. But im starting to lean towards a solid just because this was suppose to be a quick build to get me back to my other projects. But thanks again for the input. Still have a few days before paint.

I just got this kit and did a little mock up and looking for some feedback. The suspension is done and I shaved the door handles, hood, trunk, and moldings, wheels and tires came from a 58 impala kit.I made the rear skirts. Any ideas for color?

Hi everyone i just wanted to share a clear coat i found that seems to work great. i paint my models with nail polish using my airbrush and i started using this clear. and i have to say i have great luck with it and it levels out great. only down side is it does take about 3 days to dry.

Very nice. That color really seems to fit that car! Your doing an amazing job!!!

Well not much of a update but she has the engine halfs together and painted. This kid is alot better with spray paint then I was for the first time.
-
Thanks guys and I will keep u guys posted. Trying to show her how to pay attention to the details. And going to give her a crash course on how to use a airbrush soon.
-
Thanks guys. And if she sticks with building them then that just means I have to step up my work. Lol. But my main thing I want her to learn is no matter what just have fun with it. Its only plastic.

i havent posted on here in a long time and just started really building again and what better way to get started again then to help my 10yrs. daughter build her first model. she picked a 64 impala and already knows the color she wants it and thank god its not pink lol. i only have her on the weekends so it will take a while for her to finish it but she is really into it.
