Ira Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Just getting things going while the 33 is drying. This will be PU3762T... Thanks you for looking, J2 Great Start James!!!
philo426 Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 Looks like the rear end of a '61 T-bird to me!
DumpyDan Posted January 16, 2012 Posted January 16, 2012 This is a very cool look, and the front fenders.............mmmmm I like it. DAN
James2 Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 Still imagineering... It is closer to what I wanted now, still working on the look.
tooltas Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 no keep the finder on it if u lose the them that hood needs to go too put a crazy blown hemi or a flat head
moparmagiclives Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I Like the spokes on the front, maybe some bycicle fenders up front and bobbed ones in the rear?
bandit1 Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 61 tbird bed...and what is that a 34 p/u revell kit?
Bartster Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I Like the spokes on the front, maybe some bycicle fenders up front and bobbed ones in the rear? Add a track nose front end & your going places!
Dr. Cranky Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 LOVE it, great start . . . I think going fenderless up front is what the doctor ordered!
James2 Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 Thanks guys. It is the Revell 37 Ford PU and an AMT 62 T-Bird. I'm going with a Tony Nancy front axle and rear wheels but a pair of Garlit's dragster front wheels. Most likely fenderless and some crazy exhaust at the lower hood opening.
John Teresi Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Very cool looking model.......wish I would have thought of it.......NICE!!!!!!
Rob McKee Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Very creative idea. Looks great so far. Rob
Mercman Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Neat idea, I would section the cab just a bit to bring up the bottom body line to match the rear section.
James2 Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 Thanks again guys. I'm trying to keep a 60's theme going, so I'll have to do some digg'n on the engine.
bubba930 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 James your really going way out there on this build, I've followed around for a bit, and I'm still amazed by your Workmanship, and your way out there kind of mind, I'm looking at a Really Bright Orange in my mind and a 429 under the Hood. bubba930
