Here are some rough cut images of a new body that I am working on. It is still in the very rough stages but is starting to take shape. The body is an AMT 78 Firebird Trans Am. I added wedge to the sides, stretched the nose, laid the roof down at a slight angle to give it the slight appearrance of a chop, added the hood bulge and am currently working on the rear fenders. Not sure if this body will see resin casting as that part of the hobby is currently in limbo with TEM being put on the shelf temporarily and most likely permanently.

Nice Wayne, Man you have lots of sanding ahead of you. I don't think i have ever seen a promod Transam, very cool body to do. How many hours do you think you will have in it?

That is a cool start to a long journey of body work to come.

Looks like the body shop guy is making sure the rear tub is squared off to the ground and it has that right stance!

That's funny. I didn't even see that in my own picture until you made mention of it. The figure in the background just happened to be sitting there and is being used in a diorama that I am working on.
