northendmetalallstar Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 (edited) I didn't take any pics during the build so there was no "On the workbench" thread for this one. I got this one for my dad for his birthday and one for myself so we have a little competition going, hehehe. While mine is finished, his is in the purple pond after a screwed up 1st paint job, lol. It was an alright build but my windshield was cracked when i opened the box. Edited February 18, 2012 by northendmetalallstar
Darin Bastedo Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 Nice! the dash especially looks very realistic.
vintagestang Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 It is very nice. But one thing you forgot the hood trim.
hotrod59f100 Posted January 21, 2012 Posted January 21, 2012 Looks good. One thig I I hate is when I get a kit and the glass is all messed up
northendmetalallstar Posted January 23, 2012 Author Posted January 23, 2012 It is very nice. But one thing you forgot the hood trim. What is this hood trim you speak of? I don't remember anything like that in the box?
vintagestang Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 The trim is molded to the very edge of the hood.
car-man666 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 (edited) it's in the middle of the hood ,sorta like finishing the grill, do a wiki ,the're's some pics of it .just a fine line on the hood would done the job...or a slice of BMF , but that's quite a picky detail , put aside the cracked windshield, it's a great piece of "art" ,just so not to say work. David G. Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 That's a pretty shade of purple. And a nice build to boot! David G.
