well after spending some of my holiday at my dads fire museum ,decided to give my model a total Re-build ..This one.

So I have replaced the rims and tyres ,also made up a new front window , re-painted the seat and re-build new racks for the ladder and suction hoses,also new dash and build up some rubber mats from cardboard for the back lockers

I`m now working on a new back step and rear pump....

here`s a photo of my Dads 46 ford fire truck that I`m using for references...

intresting subject, my dad doesnt own a fire mueseum but he does own a 1932 chevy firetruck.

fire trucks are soooo cool to look at..... we have a local Fire Dept Museum that has a beauty of a collection of equipment.... all that brass and gold leaf scrollwork!
