  9. The video that Brett put up is of what we called Teams racing .There are 2 teams of 4 cars on the track at one time and its raced over 10 laps .1st car to do 10 laps wins Normally you have 2 cars racing and the other 2 cars block.. We also flag race too . which is most of the time as teams racing very hard on the cars and drivers.. http://youtu.be/DvhCmUcdkhk
  10. Here's my latest build, Its a replica of this superstock tank from Palmy North here in New Zealand, I managed to photo and measure the whole car over the Christmas break, and have been building hard out since, so far spent over 100+ hours on it. Most of it is scatch-built from plastic card and strips , apart from the motor ,gearbox and tyres ,rims are all from a Revell nascar kit.. This is the real car.. The madness begins.............
  11. Finished ... New Zealand Superstock team car of the Nelson Tigers... The Real one.... The Finished Model
  12. Well have been slowly working away on this model,But the other day I was inform by a driver/chassis builder that he thinks that my rear axle is too far back. So I have sent most of the weekend re-working the rear axle and mounting points... Ended up moving it about 3mm.. And even though I hate to admit it , he was right it does better now..
  13. And if you guys REALLY wanna see some "FULL CONTACT RACING", here is a "U-Tube" video of these little cars racing..........some SERIOUSLY WILD RACING !!!!! (You'll DEFINATELY ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!) http://youtu.be/B_-DOmVBZ24
  14. Finally after well over a year off modeling , due to health issues in the family and moving house , anyway heres the first build I`ve got on the go... It`s another NZ stockcar ... (big bumper cars) This one has working steering, Got the bonnet done today .... 3 plus hours to build , sure made it hard for myself with all those angles.... oh well love a good challenge Was able to get some more done on this model in the weekend due to the bad weather outside there was NO racing at my local track... Made up a set of headers from solder wire (1st go at this) also decided that I`m going to put a driver in this time , So I used the figure from the sprintcar kit and re-shape him to fit.
  15. Its just a fujimi garage tool chest paint black with some home made decals....
  16. Here`s a diorama i made a few years back , Its model after my local track here in New Zealand were No trailers are allow during racing , so the crews have these big tool boxs , containing all the parts for the nights racing , Hope you guys enjoy
