Chris guthro Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 Hey Guys, i tried looking up other builds of this car but didnt find any. Did any one you build the 88 ford credit thunderbird? if so post them up. Any of the amt thunderbirds. anything i should look out for before starting this kit?
bbowser Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 AMT NASCARS are pretty basic, go together well. Some of the issues from the '90's had a kind of weird, soft styrene that was real easy to slip up when trimming/sanding/etc. Other than that it's all about the decals!
martinfan5 Posted January 22, 2012 Posted January 22, 2012 I built it when I was a lot younger, and no way does it need to be seen by anyone , use the side decals as a template to get the masking done

martinfan5 Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 The decals that are in that kit, compared to the decals i have been using for the current cup cars are piece of cake, its really not that hard, just follow the decal placment and you be fine
