Hi everybody! My name is Kevin i just got back into building about a year ago and have been enjoying every minute of it!

I have been lurking here for a while and finally decided to join, i have been absolutely amazed at the quality and detail of builds you guys do!

It has inspired me to try my hand at detailing which is something i never have done before, i have done a few engine wirings and now i'm working on the re-issue 1/16 Street Charger that i am running fuel and brake lines.

Here's couple pics. of my collection, most have been in my collection for over 20 years.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

I love building models but my Duster is my pride and joy!

I'm trying to keep it looking like something that just rolled out of the 70's with the paint and wheels, now i just bought a green metal flake steering wheel for it and a Moon center cap, can't wait to get them and get them put on!

welcome aboard Kevin

the duster looks great

(im sure every one on here is tired of hearing this story) but i almost bought one last year, a 71 i think that had been converted from a /6 into a 318

it had been restored once before (bout 15 years ago) and looked mean, paint was a flat black primer and it was rolling on cragar SS

the interior was well in need of an overhaul but it had the front bench i love so much

the guy was asking 2100 and i had him talked down to 1800

me, the wife and the checkbook went over there to buy it and when i asked him who to make the check out to he gave me a name that didnt match the name on the title

i told him to give me a call when he had that fixed and never heard from him again
