Just found an engine for the delta 88 (not an olds though) needed somthing with the auto trans going to get started soon first thing is to lower the front to a normal height Any ideas are welcome 71delta88004.jpg

Some Olds came with Pontiac Engines...and some Pontiac came with Olds Engines......like some of the early Trans-Ams...77-80, Years....Go Crazy......let your mind wonder...looks like it's going to be a Good Build...

yes its the R&R kit one of my christmas gifts does have some rough spots but its a nice looking kit any ideas are welcome

Hey ian how are you id love to see a grandville kit but i doupt thats going to happen no body finds it as interesting as you and i do

For leadworks the engine im useing is a chevy 454 i tryed to find the 72 cutlass 455 had no luck finding that settled for the 454 it has the auto trans

For tonioseven ive tryed this grandville thing once before ive spoken to casters out of the country ive asked about making a 71,72 or 73 ive even given them a theme for the 73 seven ups grandville nobodies interested i tryed. ive never owned one my dad had the 1st year i was only 4 at the time but i loved that car and still today.Found this pic that looks exactly like his

Ahhh, that explains why you aren't using the 455 from it now. Yes, I agree, it is a nice kit, I built the white and gold one and the bronze one for the original issue box art.

Any 400, 425 or 455 Olds engine should work. That's definitely an interesting car. Also keep in mind that GM didn't really start swapping engines between divisions until '75 or '76...

Thanks for the reply im going to try and make the 454 look like an olds eng my main concern was the auto trans

this chassis wouldnt look right with a gear box :D

Oh...go on with it! Thats a beautiful car! You can show more pics of your progress, because, thats not a kit you see on every corner ;)
