Pat Minarick Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 I'm thinking about painting the Cordvette Candy or Metalflake Red... I think it would look good red with black on top.
Ira Posted July 22, 2012 Author Posted July 22, 2012 ok, Ira........wheres all the eye candy?? cheers bryan There must be some somewhere around here...
Grumpa Posted July 22, 2012 Posted July 22, 2012 Ira, this is fantastic just as it sits now. I have to agree with John Teresi's comments. You have a real knack for being able to envision what something is going to look like, and then the ability to be able to construct it. It's obvious that both sides of your brain work in conjunction! I'm lucky if I can get both of my sides to quit arguing!
Ira Posted July 22, 2012 Author Posted July 22, 2012 I think it would look good red with black on top. That sounds like a Great Color Combination! Thanks for the suggestion... Yeah, It probably will have Door & Panel Lines added.

Ira Posted July 28, 2012 Author Posted July 28, 2012 ENGINE COVER... I cut sheet plastic to surround the Engine, kind of like the Testarossa Engine Area. Here it is in place... I also filled in the underside of the front Fender Areas.
Ira Posted July 28, 2012 Author Posted July 28, 2012 ADDING THE DASH!!! I decided to use the dashboard from Monogram's 12th scale Testarossa. I trimmed the top edge to match the Cord Body and then cut the sides down to fit. I also had to cut off the Waterfall Console. Here is the Dash in place...
Ira Posted July 29, 2012 Author Posted July 29, 2012 CAMARO SEATS!!! Monogram's 12th scale 69 Camaro supplied the Perfect Inner Door Panels and Seats! Here are the Camaro Seats in Place on the floorboard... Here are the Camaro Door Panels. With a little carving the Door Panels fit the interior Just Right!!
