I have a few modern mustang kits I am looking to replace the kit tires. I have heard the best kit replacement tires is the AMT Supra kit. These kits are not easy to find.

Looking for other suggestions. Is there a current available kit from Revell or AMT that most stores would still stock that the kit tires would be a good replacement for the Revell modern Mustang kits. I think I also read somewhere once that someone used tires from a Maisto die cast Mustang kit.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

If you lower the ride height on the mustang kits, it will make the kit tires look a little bit better being on the car, even if you do get different tires, you still should lower the ride height, the kit is sitting why to high up then it should

Pegasus Hobbies 225/45 and 245/45-18 tires are a very good substitute for the kit times. Check out ScaleDreams, Rick carries them.

I looked at Scale Dreams but they don't list the numbers that you quote in your post as noted above. And are scale dreams not in the U.S.? I really don't want to have to order out of country. I am in Canada. There must be Revell/AMT kits out there with better tires I could use.

What is the best way to lower the car?
