mikelo
I built this after going to a local Goodguys event. I think you can see the inspiration. The bar is permentant now (I wasn't sure about it when I first looked at it, but now I like it), even though it is only in the first photo. Speaking of photos... Thanks for looking. hookedonplastics
Very nice! What are the rims?
Jairus
Russ, the rims are by Pegasus, and they are Torque Thrust II's. That is a very nice looking Camaro... Jairus Like!!!
mikelo
Actually, the rims are two pieces. The sleeves are old Pegasus low rider sleeves, but the center sections are from a toy called "Hubbs". They were aluminum wheels that came with rubber tires and changable "spinner" centers (they were flourecent and chromed). I had to paint mine. You will notice the big center cap that doesn't fit too well is covering a big hole. You were supposed to play with them like marbles. Here is a pic of what I am talking about. You will see these on some futur builds of mine. I lost the picture of the centers. I will look for them and post it if I find it again. mikelo
Oh, I forgot to mention, to get the different offset on the wheels, I placed the centers in from the outside on the fronts and from the inside for the rears.
mikelo
Here are what the centers look like.
novadose71
Great stance, wheels, and my favorite Camaro factory stripes. Wouldn't change a thing.

Critter
Russ, the rims are by Pegasus, and they are Torque Thrust II's. That is a very nice looking Camaro... Jairus Like!!! where do i find those wheels? i looked up what i thought was their website but it was only airplane models??? :x
mikelo
Thanks for the comments. Critter- Here is a link to Pegasus Hobbies, but again, these are not the wheels I used. I do not believe the game exists any more as it was on clearance (meaning .25 for two[2] packs containing four[4] wheels and about eight[8] centers!). The ones that are close are the "Chrome T's". http://www.pegasushobbies.com/rims.htm
KENNEDYJR
Hey is that the interior from the 57 Ford kit? That is a great looking build, I like the scrapes on the frame-looks realistic.
mikelo
Yes, they are the seats from the 57. I sed one set here, and another in a Nova I hope to have done before too long. They fit with very little modification.
