THIS IS ANOTHER TRIBUTE TO A 1:1 CAR IN THE PAST A FREIND BUILT IN THE MID 80'S.THE PAINT IS DUPLI-COLOR GM BLUE.AS YOU CAN SEE I WIRED SOME PLUMMING.AND AN L-88 427 IN THIS CAR.THE 1;1 HAD AN AUTO TRANS WHERE THIS MODEL HAS A 4 SPEED.Picture084-1.jpgPicture071-2.jpgPicture072-2.jpgPicture083-2.jpg

sweet color, cool rims.

I have a friend who built a sleeper '66 El Camino.

only he used a LS6/- 454 and left the little crossed flag emblems on the fender.

it is one quick little Elky, when he can get traction.

Nice job on that El Camino, Dan. My best friend had a '67 for years, and as Chuck says above, good luck getting traction.

Couple questions if ya don't mind:

1) Did you have any trouble getting the chassis/interior assembly to fit into the body? I've heard this kit is tricky that way.

2) I love those American Racing wheels . Where did they come from?

Now that's a clelan build, I love the color, the engine detail, and the wheels, with the white letter tires, really nice job...
