Vox had George Barris build that to show off their guitars and amps. It had a working keyboard and amps in the back built into the car. Vintage Guitar did a story on that car a few years ago.

I'll bet while Jimmy Bryant was posing for that picture he was thinking, "The junk I have to put up with just to get some free guitars and amps".
