Fabrux Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Has anyone tried using these in a build? The look pretty good and at the price they beat most resin engines...
Rob McKee Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I haven't used them but I have seen some of their stuff. http://phoenixtoys.com/shop/index.php?route=product/category&path=35_45 Love the operating lift and engine hoist.
espo Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Rob, Thats some good looking goodies. Thanks for the info.
Mark Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 The ones I have seen look good in the package. But, like most low-end diecast stuff, easy production and quick assembly trump things like detail and accuracy. You're money ahead picking up inexpensive/incomplete kits for parts IMO...
Eshaver Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Rob, I bought both of their Ford Flathead engines . I was hoping to see the Studebaker , never have . The overall quality is O K , not super, but decent . Ed Shaver
