I'd got this Monogram 70 Trans Am in a trade thanks to member Tim Jones a.k.a tjones87. First order of business was chucking the kits automatic tranny & shifter in favor of a 4-speed from a Revell 78 Trans Am with a shortened Nascar shifter to match the one in the movie car. Just asking cause you prob did your research and like I said I dont follow the Pontiacs that much. You have a good start and it will look great when your done.
