mackinac359 Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 Museum quality? Not at all. Just creative photography hiding any issues and flaws. Tim
Chuck Most Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I keep going back to those pics- they look like period photos of the 1:1 truck from an issue of Overdrive, or something.
The Modeling Hermit Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Museum quality? Not at all. Just creative photography hiding any issues and flaws. Tim ...and I thought that I was the only one who did that.
mackinac359 Posted February 11, 2012 Author Posted February 11, 2012 Ahhh.. my secret weapon! Old Overdrives! Perfect for finding "The Look." Tim I keep going back to those pics- they look like period photos of the 1:1 truck from an issue of Overdrive, or something.
chuckyr Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Ahhh.. my secret weapon! Old Overdrives! Perfect for finding "The Look." Tim I use them too. The Dutch Model group has been posting some old Overdives on their Fotki site.
mackinac359 Posted February 11, 2012 Author Posted February 11, 2012 The nice thing about scanned-in versions is that a). You don't have to sit and thumb through the magazine, , you aren't wearing out the old paper ones (if you have them) and c). no paper cuts or mildewy smelling old magazines. Tim I use them too. The Dutch Model group has been posting some old Overdives on their Fotki site.
mackinac359 Posted February 11, 2012 Author Posted February 11, 2012 I wish AITM had the old style Brockway cab and hoods too. So many possibilties with those. Tim The article on the Brockway factory from 1971 is very good, especially if you enjoy Brockways
Chuck Most Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Ahhh.. my secret weapon! Old Overdrives! Perfect for finding "The Look." Tim Uh-oh... now it's not a secret!
