I started using Duplicolor paints and Primers about 10 years ago when I got tired of all the hassles with enamel spray paints. I've also used the Testor's One Coat paints with mixed results. My biggest hassle with painting is that I have to wait til the weather is good outside. My wife and daughter complain about the smells when and if I paint in the basement or garage. I don't use an airbrush and only use rattle can paints.

I use duplicolor as well as many other paints. One thing I found with the duplicolor laquer, it's best shot outdoors in the sun, warm, not too humid. Several coats, then it will buff out nicely. Always use a good primer/sealer underneath it. My favorite primer believe it or not is Dollar General Miracle Premier. Whomever they buy this stuff from is halfway decent. Have to let it cure for several days before sanding however. Been using it for about 5 years now with no problems.

I just got my first Dupli-Color primer because it was suggested for my 1st resin kit. I have used their paints to replicate factory colors. Love the paint, hope I love the primer.
