tyrone Posted August 12, 2012 Author Posted August 12, 2012 (edited) Thanks fellas for all the nice comments.. I really appreciate it... Well July was a hectic month.. took a trip to Costa Rica with some good friends for a much needed break... I had some time to work at the bench today, and this one is almost done... I got the radiator and fuel cell mounted for good, fuel cell is a piece from futurattraction a.k.a Scott..I got the dry sump tank mounted and plumbed and I put nos bottles in and plumbed them with on/off valves. Just a few things left... thanks for looking and comments welcome... Edited August 12, 2012 by tyrone
Mooneyzs Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Tyrone... Man it is great to see you back on this build. I think this build has to be my favorite of all your builds so far. That engine detail looks killer. The whole car is just awesome!!!

tubbs Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 great build Tyrone. you have a great ability to make these kits look really aggresive.....
pharr7226 Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 You knocked it out of the park again Tyrone. What did you use for your beadlocks?
Terry Sumner Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Great build Tyrone. Question for ya...exactly how did you make the lower moldings for the vinyl top? What materials did you use?
tyrone Posted August 16, 2012 Author Posted August 16, 2012 WOW.... Thanks fellas for all the nice comments about this build, It really means alot coming from the talent and skills of you guys on this forum.... Terry the lower moldings are thin strips of styrene.. I drew the out the shape on the body with a fine tip sharpie of how I wanted the molding, thin applied the thin styrene strips... Rick... thanks man the rear wheels are from the pro stock cutlass re-issue of the Jegs pro stock.. I sanded the outer ring down, sanding off the molded in screws and that ugly lip on the outer edge of the wheel. I then marked off where I wanted my bolt heads, took my pin vise and drilled shallow holes on the beadlock ring and then added bolt heads from protech... I found a close up pic I took that kinda gives a close up of both... thanks again fellas...
eviltwincustoms Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Tyrone, I have to say this build has all the bells and whistles. You have really out done yourself with the detail on this nova. This is definitely a keeper. Congrats on bringing this one to a close, can't wait to see what you have in store next.
pharr7226 Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 Thanks for sharing your beadlock method. They add realism to the wheels and really make them pop.
