mackinac359
With the flat fenders it looks more like a model 353. Nice build! Tim

Chad
Awesome builds! i love the general! some tips on those stacks would be great. Chad
ntc8733
Thanks everyone, Chad the stacks are pretty easy, I actually sand down the original stacks until they fit inside plastic tube then cover them in BMF.
Jim B
I must be blind. I didn't even notice the front fenders. They really do give it that construction, 353 look. I like your choice of colors, too.
Truck parts
They are great looking. What trailer did you use?
catd11rpusher
I think you did a nice job both trucks look very nice The stacks look cool what are those? Tubing. NICE WORK
ntc8733
Gordon, it's the Revell of Germany heavy duty trailer. Mike, I used 3/8" Evergreen tube that slides right over most stock pipes with a little sanding. I then cover them with BMF. Thanks again for the compliments. BigBad
Lots of diamond plate on that one! Good work! I really got to get myself a GMC General again... Did you lower the suspension on the GMC? Edited February 14, 2012 by Z06Bob
ntc8733
Thanks Bob, yeah I just heated up the leaf springs and pushed them closer to the frame just like the old school hot rodders and low riders used to do
camaro68
Great looking truck like the colors and fenders are they scratch built
ntc8733
Donovan, I robbed them from the Revell Germany Western Life Pete 353. Guess it would have been easier to just use that kit, but got other plans for that one.
