ranma Posted February 18, 2012 Author Posted February 18, 2012 O.K. this what are aprt was. a old motel that now is 12 apts. a dead bolt has since been installed on our apt. the Ford dealership across the street had a breakin and items taken. the models were stored in boxes in our apt.

You certainly should pursue this and even consider a lawsuit if you're sure you can prove it was the apartment manager. I had a nasty break-up in the mid-90's. My ex cited my model building as a factor and it really got me down. I had to move to a smaller apartment and I pretty much stopped building. I started selling kits. I told myself it was an immature hobby and I needed to grow up. And then it slowly started to happen... I stopped letting her words and the awful things she did to me stop me from being who I was and doing what I enjoyed. I got back into the hobby and eventually healed that wound by buying almost every Tamiya 1/12 scale F1 kit that was made (therapy rules). Now sadly, the downside of that selling frenzy was the loss of the Carpenter and Soff Seal pro stock kits, the Christine pro stock kit, the Tony Foti L.A.P.D. Camaro (aaaarrgghhh), several drag and funny cars, and a variety of street cars. I have managed to replace some of these, but never all of them. So keep what you have until you get past this, you may regret it otherwise.

Then you need to get down to your local police or sheriff's station, and get this guy taken care of. My late father said that the lowest form of life in this world is a thief. ranma Posted February 23, 2012 Author Posted February 23, 2012 On tuesday our manager told everyone that Orkin comes thursday. She also stated that some apt copy keys were taken by a previovs manager. so the locks have now been changed.
