Mr. Moparman Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Since my Revell/Gearz Charger has been pulled off the assembly line waiting for interior parts and paint, I decided to start this. It will be box stock pretty much with a off-white interior. Here the basic engine block has been assembled and awaiting sanding. Enjoy!!!
diymirage Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 cool i like this kit a word of advise though, when you go to apply the hood decal cut the center out first you would expect it to be precut but it is not and it will not lay flat over the hoodlouvers heres one i build a year or so ago
Keef Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 i cut out the center of the decal and painted that area of the hood black
Haubenschild Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 I cant wait to see this finished , is there a ford logo on your paint can?
Mr. Moparman Posted February 19, 2012 Author Posted February 19, 2012 Thanks guys, after examination my kit's hood decal seems to aready be cut out.
Dirkpitt289 Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 I like the idea of painting the louvers. To much can go wrong with applying the decals over that area
Sport Suburban Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 It's a great kit and you will enjoy it. I have built two myself. One as a 71 Charger RT and one as a 71 Charger Super Bee!! I used two more for the chassis and engines in kitbash projects!!
imatt88 Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 I want to see where this goes, especially the engine detailing...Working on a Cuda, and building up to a RoadRunner
