What do you get when you cross an Eclipse, cadillac engine and NASCAR roll cage, and big slicks.

I know there a lot of "regulations" that this build will not follow but it's a model just about anything goes.

This is what I have began with, and I have a build before this one and it will be a slow progress, because I need a good chassis for it.

:edit: the engine shown is not the caddy engine.

Well last time I checked, this was a hobby and about having fun and being creative , so have fun with this one

I've done one like this Kaleb, but used a 426 Hemi in it. Keep at it, and don't sweat the "reality" factor, just have fun. Mine doesn't have a roll cage, so you've already gone further than I did!

O I'm not sweating it, just discouragings all the nit pickers, and nay Sayers. I'm not sure on how to run these slicks because of the chassis. And the only other chassis I have is the 66 nova and its actually going to the nova. next step is finding a reared for this thing.

Thank you, and its the viper acr candy apple red when i get to that step which hopefully will be tomorrow.

The paint case is actually an organizer that you can pick up at lowes it helps abundantly.

I have more progress pics that ill be posting in a little bit.

I have the roll cage narrowed down but no pics yet.

I used the chassis from AMT's '70 Super Bee Pro-Street on mine. I had to chop a section out of the center, and rework the back end, but it did fit...eventually!

That's sweet, I changed the wheels and tires on this build and they fit right into the wheel wells. And I can use the NASCAR rearend

The progress is actually going faster than I thought.

Here is another update.
