mademan Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 (edited) Here Is my second Revell 2010 Camaro SS project. "Fast Lane" is what the license plate will read. The color is Dupli-color Touch up Rattle can, Toyota Red. Kit white stripes. I didnt like the kit tires, so I ordered some scale 315/30/20s and I added a barrel/lip to the rear wheels to make them more aggressive. I am currently working on creating a scale Roto-Fab cold air intake with airbox. Not yet sure if I want to add a supercharger or not, but ill figure it out soon. kit junk tires next to the aftermarket 315/30/20 Edited February 27, 2012 by mademan
glenn Posted February 27, 2012 Posted February 27, 2012 this is off to a nice start, looks like it will be a well detailed and clean build.
mademan Posted February 28, 2012 Author Posted February 28, 2012 thanks! Ive been waiting for so long for this kit to be released, ive got so many ideas for so many of them ,lol I will keep updating as I progress.
mademan Posted September 22, 2012 Author Posted September 22, 2012 I havent forgotten about this build, I started assembling and detailing the interior today. Hope to have this one buttoned up soon! more pics to come later
martinfan5 Posted September 22, 2012 Posted September 22, 2012 Looking good, love the work on the engine, I hope I can get mine to come out as good as yours
Tonioseven Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 Nice!! As is to be expected of your builds!!
TheGrandfatherHobbies Posted September 23, 2012 Posted September 23, 2012 very cool. like the ones in the background of the last pic as well. the ls engine supplied with this kit looks nice might have to use it in sum.....
mademan Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 Nearing Completion! detail painting I need to do something abuot the rear.... I have 315/35/20 hobby design tires on there, and there is just too much wheel gap
ll Brandon ll Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Where did the barrels and tires come from? I did something similiar for my Pro Touring build and I would love to get a spare set of barrels. Nice build, love the color.
mademan Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 the tires are hobbydesigns brand, I got them on ebay. the barrels I made by cutting down a set of pegasus wheels.
mademan Posted October 12, 2012 Author Posted October 12, 2012 I decided against using the deepdish rear wheels, cause they woudl stick out way too much. so here is the rollin stock, unless i find something more suited to the car before final assembly
dimebolt Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 Looks good Mike. Nice attention to detail. Corey
bryan_m Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 wow, very nice build..... great color choice, the stripes are nice n crisp, and the interior is sweet! cheers bryan
ll Brandon ll Posted October 13, 2012 Posted October 13, 2012 What do you think of those tires? Ive purchased some HD wheels and I love their wheels, but the one set of tires I ordered were horrible. Hard, bad mold, hardly no flex and they barely fit.
