kenb Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 I see a lot of engines here with very realistic fuel lines. I don't mean colored wire, I'm talking about clear and red transparent looking fuel lines that really look like hose. What are you guys using. Thanks. Ken
Dave Ambrose Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 I use 30 ga wire wrap wire. I have a lifetime supply from when I was an independent electronics tech. I think you can still get it at Radio Shack. I use it both with the wire in, and using just the insulation after stripping it off the wire.
Mike Kucaba Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Clear lines would probably be fishing line(monofilament?) It may even come in colors,or maybe the clear could be tinted using a sharpie marker.
crazyjim Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 I've used fishing line from Wal-Mart. I have some clear and some transparent red. I believe it's 30 pound test line. I also use Beadalon #1 crimp tubes for the fittings.
