WORKING On The DRIVER!!!

I started with a DW Head from a Z-28.

First I extended the left side of his neck with a angled slice of plastic tubing.

Then I started carving the Hair away from his left Eye, with a Dremel Tool.

I used some Squadron Putty to make some hair...

I just squeezed the putty on his head and smoothed it with a putty knife & toothpicks.

Maybe a little more Sanding and then some Painting.... B)

I know he's gonna look cool but he looks kinda creepy in primer with no eyes.

Yep...We are going to have to get some eyes for this guy!

Hurry up and get those tailights and grille in this thing, I can't wait to see it finished! Then get yer butt back to work on the Cordvette, it's too wild looking to be sitting in a box or on the shelf.

The Ramchero is looking fantastic.

Should be Finished in a couple weeks... :D ...just kiddin' maybe a couple days!

Thanks for the kind words Dave.

Hope to get back to the CordVette this weekend!!!

PUTTIN' On Carroll's Face!!!

I started by mixing up some acrylics for the face & hair.

First I painted his Face with a mixture of flesh & white, then I painted his Hair with a mixture of black & white.

Next the Teeth & the Whites of his eyes...

DSCN4902R.jpg

I added a little shading with The Detailer-Black, then applied a coat of Dullcoat.

Here is Carroll's Finished Head next to the original head I started with.

Next I'll get to work on Carroll's Shiftin' Arm... B)

CARROLL'S SHIFTIN' ARM!!!

I started with the DW Z28 "Peace Sign Hand" and cut off the fingers & then glued them back in place to hold the Shifter...looks gross with the orange plastic & gray primer! :o

DSCN4958R.jpg

I added putty and smoothed the hand out a bit.

Then I carved and sanded untill it started to look like a CAR-TOONS Hand again...

DSCN4983R.jpg

Sprayed it with primer then applied acrylics for color.

The Shifter is a Red Transparent Map Pin.

Next the Interior.... B)

CARROLL Wears a BiG HAT!!!

DSCN4991R.jpg

Unfortunately, it's to BiG to wear in the RAMCHERO...

DSCN4995R.jpg

So he left the Hat at home today.

DSCN4994R.jpg

I used a Clear Gloss Enamel over the Eyes & Teeth. White accents were added to the Eyes with a bit of white acrylic on a toothpick.

The Interior is Finished and Glued in Place now.

Should have the RAMCHERO Done Soon!

BiG PIPES!!!

I made the exhaust pipes from plastic tubing. I cut 8 small pieces and 2 large ones...

DSCN5011R.jpg

I glued the 4 small tubes into each big tube, then I sanded the end of the pipes on an angle.

DSCN5020R.jpg

I painted them and attached them to the Chassis Plate.

That was the Last Step!

RAMCHERO Is Finished!!!
